A charming stone cottage in an elevated position with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside.

2 Bedrooms sleep 4 people, with highlights including a private enclosed garden, a shared games room with full-size billiard table, and breathtaking countryside views.

Located just outside Barnstaple, Bishops Tawton has a choice of character pubs serving excellent food. There are numerous country walks from the doorstep, or jump in the car and reach the nearest beach in just 20 minutes!

The comfortable living room has seating for 4 people, a flatscreen TV, Freeview, books and games.

A fantastic facility is the shared games room with full-size billiard table. This is in a separate building and shared with two other cottages, THE coach house and THE coach house cottage.

kitchen

Attractive cottage kitchen with cream cupboards and all the mod cons needed for a relaxing self-catering stay. Appliances include a double oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, as well as a good supply of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery (including children’s).

Next to the kitchen is a separate dining room seating 4, and a high chair is provided.

Bedroom 2: Double bedroom, perfect for another couple, or two children happy to share.

Enjoy use of a private enclosed garden with sheltered patio area and stunning views all around. There is a picnic table, and outdoor seating for 6. Steps lead up to the front door.

There is parking space for 2 cars outside the lodge.

Spend time exploring the beautiful countryside on your doorstep, with unrivalled rural views of the Taw Valley and beyond. Horses graze in the fields, and if you visit in Spring the rapeseed fields are a glorious blanket of yellow.

Located on the rise of Codden Hill, the monument at the summit is just a 15-20 minute walk away, and well worth the effort for the views! You can see for miles in every direction, to the coast, Lundy Island and Exmoor National Park.
