The property has a small courtyard garden, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Tarka Trail or the stunning coastline of nearby Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. Entering the living/dining room via the hall, it comprises plush seating, a Smart TV with Freesat box, a DVD player, a dining table for four, and a woodburning stove. There is a well-equipped kitchen, where you can prepare delicious meals when you’re not dining at a local restaurant. When sleep calls, head upstairs to find two well-appointed bedrooms, including a king-size (zip/link), and a double, both serviced by a spacious shower room. The nearest village shop is Bratton Fleming, perfect for stocking up on last minute essentials. The market town of South Molton, famous for its weekly Pannier Markets and independent shops full of local tasty produce is just 7 miles away. If you’re looking for a friendly local pub, The Black Venus at Challacombe or The New Inn in Goodleigh are a short drive. For attractions, head to Exmoor Zoo or The Quince Honey farm, both firm family favourites. If a stroll around gardens is more your ideal day out Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum are nearby, with the Chichester family home built in the Regency period, Victorian walled gardens, and picturesque walks through the estate. Travel to the coastline, reaching Combe Martin Beach in just a few miles; it's also home to the Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, the local Museum and you can go Coasteering or hire a kayak or paddle board, offering something for everyone. Complete your break with a tour of Barnstaple, its museum, and the River Taw, before traversing the North Devon Coast Nature Reserve, for some breath-taking walks. South Molton, a charming market town in North Devon, is known as The Gateway to Exmoor and offers a variety of businesses, facilities, and a twice-weekly market. It will appeal to guests of all tastes because of its convenient location close to both inland and coastal natural attractions. Forests, moors, rivers, and the coast are all nearby, as are churches and other historical structures. Locals enjoy the area's peaceful charm, and visitors soon discover the sense of civic pride that the residents hold. The South West Coast Path offers excellent hiking opportunities, and the various and interesting North Devon beaches. See the funicular cliff train, Valley of the Rocks, and Watersmeet Gorge under the care of the National Trust. There are numerous treks up on Exmoor to suit all skill levels, as well as notable locations including Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge, and the settlement of Withypool. The resorts of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are located further away, and Woolacombe, Saunton, and Croyde offer some of the best beaches in the nation.

    Because the mobile signal had then disappeared we had to drive up and down a bit to find it. I'm not sure what you could do about that, unless you're able to put up a sign that sticks out?
