The immediate area offers some superb walking with a network of footpaths straight from the property alternatively a little further afield Exmoor National Park, the South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail (cycle hire is available in Barnstaple) all wait to be enjoyed. Beach lovers are well catered for with Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! a short drive away. But should you wish to explore further afield the pretty coastal villages at Hartland and Clovelly are worth a visit. Barnstaple offers amenities including the characterful Pannier Market, and at Bideford you can jump on the Oldenburg and enjoy a day boat trip to Lundy Island. Other attractions accessible from here include nearby Portmore Golf course, Tapeley Park, Arlington Court and Dartington Crystal. Stepping into this superbly finished property you will immediately find yourself in the lovely open space leading through to lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is comfortable with a Smart TV to sit and while away the evenings. The dining area offers a table and chairs making mealtimes a breeze, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to conjure up a feast or a quick snack, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading out through the French doors you have a large enclosed patio area with garden furniture, a gas BBQ fully equipped for you to enjoy a freshly caught fish from the lakes. You will also find a hot tub for six. There is private off road parking for two cars provided. Guests at all the properties on this site have the freedom to wander the grounds and surrounding fields which are perfect for stargazing. There is a lake where you can fish (rods and tackle available). Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 2 En suite shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Private hot tub with robes provided. Off road parking for 2 cars. Beach 11 miles, shop 2 miles and pub 1.5 miles. Smart TV. Enclosed patio with garden furniture and BBQ area available. Shared use of coarse fishing lake (by arrangement with the owner). Regret no children under the age of 12, babe in arm welcome (under 2 years old). The owner has 3 dogs which live on site.
