Overview

Smithincott Cottage is a beautiful traditional holiday cottages based in Uffculme in Devon. This delightful thatched holiday retreat forms part of a traditional Devon longhouse in the rolling countryside near Cullompton and is an ideal family holiday retreat. This cottage is spacious and has been very thoughtfully furnished and presented so that guests have all the comfort of a modern life and is enjoyed alongside the traditional charm and character of the cottage. The cottage comes with private parking and a summer house and sleeps up to 6, perfect for all the family. Smithincott Barton Cottage is just a short drive away from Exeter City Centre where there is an abundance of shops, historic buildings and restaurants.

Living and Dining

The living space houses a three seater sofa, two free standing arm chairs and a foot stool. For those winter nights you can cosy up on the sofa with the electric fire on what a dvd on the flat screen tv.

Within the living room is a dining table and chairs that can seat up to 6 people.

From the living room you can access the conservatory where you can overlook the wonderful garden whilst sitting on the wicker furniture. There is a wicker seater bench, two free standing wicker chairs and a wicker coffee table.

Kitchen

The kitchen is a large room decorated in warm colours to make for a cosy atmosphere, the kitchen comprises of an electric cooker, microwave along with a breakfast table and chairs.

Utility Room

The utility room houses a fridge, freezer and a washer/dryer.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 is traditionally decorated with a wooden framed double bed with two bedside cabinets with bedside lamps, there is also a chaiselong for added comfort. A chest of drawers and wardrobe are available to use during your stay.

Bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 houses the second double bed with two bedside cabinets and lamps, there's storage space to one side of the bedroom and this room also has the access to the third bedroom.

Bedroom 3

Bedroom 3 is a twin room access via bedroom two, this room has two single beds. Bed 1 is 1x3ft and bed 2 is 1x2'6?. A chair is placed between the two beds, take advantage of reading a book to the children before bedtime and send them off to dreamland.

Bathrooms

On the ground floor there is a wc and on the first floor of the cottage is the family bathroom. There is a bath with a wall mounted electric shower, a hand basin and WC.

Outside Space

Smithincott Barton Cottage has a beautiful furnished garden with a summerhouse.

The cottage comes with off road parking for 2 cars.
