Perfectly placed, there is much to see and do nearby, with the stunning cathedral city of Exeter being just a short drive away and offering a variety of shops, restaurants and plenty of activities to keep the kids amused all week long. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a barge for the day or cycle along the towpaths. Walkers will also be in their element with both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks all within each reach. Beach lovers can explore the world renowned Jurassic coastline, including picturesque Lyme Regis, and the pretty seaside resorts of Sidmouth and Branscombe.Or drive north in search of waves at Woolacombe and Croyde surf mecca's. There are also several National Trust properties in the area including Killerton and Knightshayes, from which you can walk over to The Lost Kitchen for lunch, brunch, dinner or the best cake in Devon! Step inside this beautifully characterful cottage and you will immediately find yourself in the welcoming country kitchen. This perfectly presented space includes a fabulous range of appliances and equipment including a Belfast sink, electric oven and gas hob (Rangemaster), microwave, wine cooler, coffee machine and dishwasher; plus, a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and chest freezer. From here, venture further inside and into the dining room which boasts a stunning oak table with bench seating and provides a perfect venue for relaxed family meals. Making this a brilliantly sociable and flexible space is a door which leads through to a pretty conservatory with seating, and from here a further set of French doors lead to outside, allowing you to dine alfresco with ease during warm weather. The next room is the cosy lounge, and this boasts a Smart TV and an original inglenook fireplace with a warming wood burner and offers somewhere to relax in a home from home setting. Leading off this there is a lovely little snug/playroom, and this offers a second Smart TV, PS4 games and DVD's. Completing the offering on the ground floor is a shower room with shower and WC. Ascending the steep cottage style stairs to the first floor, you will then find the beautiful bedrooms, all presented in a lovely contemporary country style. Offering flexible accommodation for a variety of groups, these include two double rooms, and two king size rooms (both with zip and link beds that can be presented as twin rooms with 2 6 single beds upon request). The final room inside the property and located alongside the bedrooms is a beautiful bathroom with a shower attachment on the bath and a WC. Heading outside, further highlights await in the form of the gorgeous outside space. A small children's barked floor play area has a toddler's climbing frame and slide. The beautiful and well cared for enclosed garden has a lawn, patio area, garden furniture and a BBQ. Here you can relax in style at the end of a busy day exploring and enjoy a dip in the hot tub after a good walk. Private off road parking for three cars is also provided.
