Upon arrival, ample parking allows you to unpack with ease, taking in the stunning exterior of this white painted property and the wooden beams that run along the surface to meet the raised veranda and the mature trees framing the property. You will find the sitting room on the first-floor, where wooden flooring and a large woodburning stove, warming your feet as you recline in one of the variety of stylish grey sofas, and here you will find access via glass sliding doors to an amazing raised wooden veranda with a wooden roof for shelter, furniture and a view across the beautiful gardens and countryside, a spot you will be delighted to return to in order to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets.

Downstairs, an extensive kitchen/diner entices you to cook up a storm, with fresh white décor, wooden flooring, an ornamental fireplace and sliding glass doors opening up onto a second sitting area with a patio and countryside views, and the kitchen itself full of amazing home-from-home amenities and with a smaller breakfast table available for a more intimate setting, and as you dine the handy utility will deal with your sandy clothing.

On the ground floor you will find two of the four bedrooms, beginning with a stunning super-king-size where an opulent four poster bed fills the space handsomely, and there is a sitting area for guests as well as an extensive en-suite with contemporary furniture laid out tastefully for maximum usability, wooden flooring and a walk-in shower. A second king-size room with blue carpets and bedding offers a view to the garden with an en-suite bathroom with a stylish free standing claw bath and blue tiles, allowing guests to enjoy a soak amongst the bubbles and on the first floor you will find a double room with homely décor and a handy en-suite shower-room and a twin room, perfect for children, as well as a separate bathroom.

Outside, the garden is simply breath-taking, with a sitting area immediately outside of the property where you can enjoy breakfast with a view, before taking a stroll through the private mature woodland where in the spring a sea of bluebells lines the path and bank, and there is a fantastic pond within this wildlife friendly area.

Nearby Uplyme is a wonderful village just outside of the bustling seaside resort of Lyme Regis where you will find a shop and pub, and easy access to countryside walks and historic sites such as Cannington Viaduct and Musbury Castle. Head into the main town of Lyme Regis to find a greater variety of eateries and close access to local beaches, two museums and an aquarium for a great day out for all guests. A little further afield you will be able to visit the wonderful Donkey Sanctuary and Axe Valley Wildlife Park before scouring Lyme Regis Fossil Beach for fossils hidden beneath the rocks. Bluebell Ridge is a truly stunning property that will make a fantastic base for your Jurassic coast adventure.

The beautiful countryside surrounding the village of Uplyme, on the borders of Devon and Dorset, is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, criss-crossed by bridleways and footpaths including the East Devon Way, and providing perfect country walks and superb views. The area was chosen by TV chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall for his River Cottage HQ at Park Farm, where you can treat yourself to a great meal. Just a short drive takes you to the stunning Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis. This delightful historic seaside town boasts a maze of narrow streets, with an interesting array of shops and cafes, whilst the sandy beach lends itself to great bathing and watersports, and the bustling little harbour offers regular fishing trips, or try your hand at fossil hunting. Within an easy drive is the quaint town of Axminster, or how about a ride on the Seaton Tramway? A glorious location for a varied and interesting holiday.
