This luxury glamping pod is set in an elevated position within the East Devon countryside, only two miles from the stunning Jurassic Coast. situated next to the River Otter, with access to both the East Devon Way and Coleridge Link public walking footpath networks. Nearby Sidmouth (2 mls) can be explored and offers a whole host of cafes, restaurants, shops, and a beautiful pebble beach to enjoy. A little further along the coast are the villages of Branscombe and Beer, with in between, The Donkey Sanctuary, all offering pet friendly places to visit and enjoy. Further afield is the stunning Powderham Castle (17.5 mls) where you can explore the historic building, parkland (where you can walk your dog), various boutique shops, restaurant, and farm shop. Set within a pristine park which is reflected in the immaculately presented pod, perfect for a luxurious romantic glamping experience. Entering the property, you will find a comfortable sleeping area with a double bed to the rear of the pod. The cosy lounge is the perfect place to relax on the comfy sofa after a day out exploring the local area. There is a dining table with seating and a DAB/Bluetooth radio. The kitchen area is well equipped with a double ring induction hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave oven, the perfect place to make breakfast or pack up a lunch for the day. The spacious shower room with a shower, vanity unit with wash hand basin, wall mounted hairdryer, and WC. Venturing outside is the private decked/gravel area with a picnic table, benches, and BBQ where you can enjoy the magnificent countryside views across Devon. This is a perfect area for al fresco dining, or to enjoy a nice glass of wine or a good local ale. Or perhaps gather around one of the communal fire pits in the park's garden and relax. You may also get the opportunity to spot the visiting wildlife such as rabbits and birds. Guests can drive up to the pods to deposit/pick up their luggage but during their stay, their car must be left in the main car park, by the reception pod which is a short walk away Need to know: 1 bedroom double bed. 1 bathroom shower, vanity unit with wash hand basin, WC and wall mounted hairdryer.
