Get away for a seaside break at this stunning cottage in the centre of Beer village with the beach just 200 metres away, as well as shops, galleries, and eateries nearby and stunning walks along the coast. It makes the ideal base for couples and families, with three bedrooms to choose from and a pretty garden to relax in on balmy days.
The Grade-II listed cottage has bags of charm and has been furnished in a gorgeous romantic French style. Step inside the homely living room, where you can spend the evening kicking back on the comfy sofas with your favourite show on the Smart TV. Next door is the stylish, contemporary kitchen, a lovely space to prepare delicious meals, then enjoy them together in the elegant dining room; you’ll also find a handy utility room on the ground floor. Head upstairs for a good night’s sleep in the three stunning bedrooms, two doubles and single, all of them are sophisticated, with relaxing hues, and gorgeous vintage furniture. There’s also a stylish shower room for freshening up after a day on the beach. Heading outside, take a drink, sit in the sunshine together and plan the next day’s activities in the pretty garden.
Head to the beach (200 metres) to paddle and potter or go out on a mackerel fishing trip, pick up the South West Coast Path for walks to Branscombe (3 miles) and Seaton (1.5 miles), the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. Try out a new water sport on Seaton’s 1-mile-long beach, visit the exciting Jurassic-themed Play Park, Seaton Tramway, and Cliff Field Gardens and Labyrinth. Book a tour of the 2000-year-old manmade Beer Quarry Caves (1 mile) and spend a fun day in the bustling seaside town of Lyme Regis (10 miles).
