This three-bedroom lodge stands in quiet rural Cornwall, on a small development between the county's north and south coasts, with far-reaching views south towards The Lizard. Made for families and groups of friends who want to mix active days on the water with slower ones spent relaxing with a good book. Stithians Lake Activities Centre, 2 miles away, offers sailing and paddling on inland water. The maritime town of Falmouth, 9.5 miles away, and the galleries and harbour streets of St Ives, 19.5 miles away, make for fabulous days out enjoying the charm of the local area. The surrounding lanes and fields are threaded with cycling and walking trails, plus routes for horse-riding can also be enjoyed. Closer to the water, the Southwest Coast Path traces the cliffs above hidden coves and surfing beaches, with sheltered sailing waters on the southern side.

The heart of the homely lodge is a vaulted open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where the raised ceiling gives the room height, whilst an abundance of picture windows floods the space with natural light. The plush sofas are grouped at one end for relaxing evenings, enjoying the ultimate film night in front of the TV. The dining table is set within easy conversation of whoever is cooking up a storm in the sleek and stylish contemporary kitchen. French doors run along the south-facing side of the space and open straight onto the decking, so the inside and outside spaces work as one when they are open during the warmer months. The other end of the lodge encompasses three picturesque bedrooms and a family bathroom, which boasts a spa bath, perfect for soothing weary walking muscles at the end of a busy beach day. The king-size bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. Two further bedrooms are laid out as twins, one of which can be made up as a double by arrangement, offering true versatility.

Outside, the enclosed south-facing decking makes the most of your wonderfully scenic setting, the perfect spot for alfresco dining or an evening of stargazing over the fields. The rolling bubbles of the fabulous hot tub set on the patio below invite tired travellers to relax and unwind. Shared with other guests staying on the development are a children's play area and a wildflower area. Parking is available at the lodge, and a domestic welcome pack is provided on arrival.
