Snaptrip says

The Coach House in Cornwall is praised for its beautiful interiors, peaceful rural location, and dog-friendly environment. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the property's spacious garden. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness oversights are noted, the overall experience is seen as enjoyable, with many considering a return visit.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness is generally good, but several reviews mention cobwebs, flies, and spiders, indicating a need for deeper cleaning. Some guests also reported empty hand soap dispensers, suggesting room for improvement in maintaining cleanliness standards.

The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity and convenience to local attractions such as Trevibban Mill Vineyard and Padstow. The rural setting and proximity to stunning coastlines are frequently commended.

Comfort receives mixed reviews. While the property's social living area and bathrooms are praised, several guests find the sofas uncomfortable. The addition of new sofas is noted in one review, indicating responsiveness to feedback.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. However, issues with maintenance such as a tipping fridge, leaking shower, and non-working outside lights are highlighted. The absence of a microwave and welcome book with instructions is also noted.

While some guests express a desire for a welcome pack and mention the lack of one, there is no consistent mention of gifts being provided or expected. Therefore, it is not possible to score thoughtfulness based on the provision of gifts, and guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

Negative: 1. Bathroom shower to the main bedroom upstairs was blocked by previous guests, it took until Wednesday afternoon until it was addressed and fixed! 2. Picture 7, 8 and 9 in the property description is misleading! There are no chairs in the property to provide seating at the end of the table! 3. Not enough seating provided for 8 people in the lounge and kitchen! We used the patio chairs (3) inside to accommodate. 4. Parking is good for 4 cars, however when we had 4 cars parked for 1 day and for 1 hour a 5th car, the owner left a message with the Customer Relations Team, any cars over 3 should be parked in the top car park! If we had known this, we would have parked there. It is nowhere mentioned in the information pack online or in the property! 5. Leaving time of 9.30am is too early!

Fantastic garden and outside seating area. Ideal for visiting padstow and the 7 bays. Disappointing not to have a welcome pack of goodies as we have received previously when staying at Sykes cottages or any information about the local area. Some areas of the property could have been cleaned more thoroughly and the dishwasher was not working. These issues were reported to the management company who kept in contacting regarding repairs although these hadn’t happened before we left.
