10 Trehawks is a stunning modern Lodge located within a lovely tree-lined development with large ornamental pond / lake on the highly sought after St Minver Holiday park near Rock and Polzeath in North Cornwall. The lodge can sleep up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, wall-mounted TV, dressing area and a full en-suite bathroom with a large shower. The other bedroom has twin beds, ample storage and wall-mounted TV. The family bathroom has a large bath with over shower. The spacious lounge area has a large wall-mounted TV, massive settees and a coal effect fire /heater. The lodge benefits from double glazing and central heating throughout
The fully fitted kitchen includes an oven and hob plus a built in large fridge freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and plenty of storage space. The utility area of the kitchen has a washing machine /dryer and back door to the rear decking and private garden.
Outside the lodge there is a large and secure decked area with table and chairs for alfresco dining or sunbathing, the south facing aspect affords sun all day during the Summer months. There is a large block-paved private parking area for 2 cars adjacent to The Lodge.
St Minver Holiday Park is located 1.5 miles from Rock which lies on the stunning Camel Estuary with the magnificent swimming beaches of Daymer Bay, Porthilly and Rock beach, the premier surfing beach at Polzeath is just 3 miles away. All beaches have car parks and Polzeath also offers surfing lessons along with surfing equipment to hire.
St Minver Park benefits from lying in wonderful private grounds boasting a large indoor pool (access can be obtained via the purchase of weekly passes from the reception office), sauna, indoor and outdoor seating areas and full changing facilities. Also on the park is a laundrette, well stocked shop, children's play area, crazy golf and the old Manor House with WIFI, Sky Sports / TNT Sports, restaurant, bar, takeaway food, amusement arcade and entertainment area which offers a full and varied daily program for children and adults. The village of St Minver is just a quarter mile from the site and Pityme (1 mile from site) where there is a local pub with excellent dining.
On the road leading to Rock there are a variety of shops including two delicatessens, a Spar, an excellent gastro fish and chip shop, a butchers, the fabulous Rock Bakery and several takeaways. There are also several excellent cafes, and Paul Ainsworth's The Mariners restaurant. Also in Rock you can learn to sail, water ski, windsurf or paddle board. There are also 2 stunning local golf courses St Enodoc and The Point.
From Rock you can catch the passenger ferry to the picturesque historic fishing village and port of Padstow, famous for its numerous gastronomic restaurants or visit nearby locations such as; Port Isaac (home of TV's Doc Martin), the quaint fishing village of Port Quin, Tintagel (location of King Arthur's Castle) or travel further afield to The Eden Project, which is only 40 minutes away. Or visit other resorts such as St Ives or Newquay
Rock is also a great place to start several different walks along the glorious white sandy beaches, cliffs and the many coastal paths with wonderful views across the estuary and out across The Atlantic Ocean.
The closest town is Wadebridge which benefits from 4 supermarkets, a wide variety of shops, local leisure facilities, and is the main base for the Camel Cycle and Walking trail that runs to Bodmin and Padstow.

Bookings are taken, in the main, Saturday to Saturday. In quieter months there is a greater flexibility with the dates.

The beautiful countryside surrounding the town is criss-crossed with a network of local footpaths, amazing gardens and stately homes to explore, whilst the renowned Camel Trail passes through the town, providing 17 miles of fabulous, traffic free walking, horse riding and cycling opportunities. The stunning North Cornwall coast is within 5 miles, boasting a huge selection of beaches, rocky coves and towering cliffs to explore and the nearby town of Padstow, with its colourful harbour, pastel-washed, medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is a must. Visit the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches, a fascinating sea life centre, exciting zoo and vibrant nightspots. Whatever your desire, there's something for everyone in this terrific holiday location.
