Great place to rest and unwind as very peaceful. The cottage was cosy and well equipped with a beautiful garden. We had problems with the shower which was temperamental, kept going cold. We had to run another hot tap whilst in the shower.Would have been helpful to have had clear instructions on what to do with the recycling and rubbish.Overall it was a great place for exploring Cornwall and we enjoyed the cottage.

I booked lansant last year and we just stayed for a week. Judt so you know the property is now called Arcardia not Lansant. St breock is down a narrow country lane with passing places looks more like a path rather than a road I didn't feel safe driving down it. There isn't ample parking in the village, you have to park up and keep checking see if anybody has left to move your car to a better location. The property is clean, cute and has everything you need and the garden is nice too. Disadvantage is the location the steepness of the village and the VERY steep path down to the house. If you don't mind hills feel free to book but I'll be booking somewhere in town and paying the extra money.

The cottage is delightful, we especially loved the garden which is well looked after and large compared to the size of the cottage. It is a homely place and the beds are comfortable. Everything is clean and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking and even baking. There was an issue with the washing machine but we were aware of that before we got there and decided we wouldn't need to use it, so the host could wait till we left to replace it. The shower was a bit temperamental one of the days, but seemed to resolve itself the same day. That gave us a chance to try the bath which was lovely.I would recommend Lansant-An-Vre for couples or small families for a quiet escape that isn't too far from adventure. Thanks for having us.
