Tucked away in a wooded valley at the head of a tidal creek running up from the Camel River, Creekside, a semi-detached holiday home, has direct access to the creek via the deck area at the rear of the cottage. It is ideally situated in the Cornish hamlet of Little Petherick. Footpaths lead in all directions down the creek to the river and along the waters edge to Padstow. The Saints Way, a famous walk, runs directly outside the cottage linking the north and south coast. Just 10 minutes by car you are in Padstow, with its winding streets, quaint fishing harbour, excellent pubs and restaurants. There are several sandy beaches close by. Ideal at any time of year, with high efficiency electric storage heaters, this is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring the area. Shops 3 miles, pub 1 mile.

A cosy cottage for 4 with 2 singles downstairs of varying widths and a spacious kingsize up a spiral staircase, which is quite narrow; not ideal for elderly people.Other than that, the owner was very informative and helpful when I spoke with him. A nice walk on the far side of the creek into Padstow if you feel up to it, takes about 1hr.Plenty of nearby sights to see, but you will need a car.
