About this property

Conveniently located in the heart of the bustling market town of Wadebridge, this delightful cottage for two comes packed with lovingly preserved original features and a warming wood burner for cosy evenings in. Explore the region’s fantastic beaches, roam the glorious Cornish countryside and return to a warm and welcoming home that will charm your socks off.

Enter from the street into the inviting living room where splashes of colour from sumptuous soft furnishings adorn neutrally toned furniture. Whitewashed stone walls and ceilings create a wonderful space in which to relax on comfortable seating alongside the cosy wood burner after a day of discovery. The compact kitchen/diner is small but perfectly formed and comes complete with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. Upstairs, the light and airy wood-panelled bedroom boasts a luxurious super-king-size bed and a stylish en-suite shower room with a fabulous double shower. Though this property has no outside space of its own, there are plenty of green spaces and riverside walks nearby.

To enjoy both coast and country, the location of this cottage couldn’t be better. Wadebridge itself is a great shopping town with interesting independent boutiques, fantastic restaurants serving local produce, as well as some great bars and historic pubs to enjoy. The Camel Trail can be joined 100 metres from your door. This cycling and walking path follows the course of the gorgeous River Camel and is almost entirely flat and traffic-free, running from Padstow on the coast to Bodmin via Wadebridge along the way. For a day out at the seaside, head to the ever-popular beaches of Rock and Polzeath (7 miles), where you can try your hand at surfing or just relax on the golden sands with a good book. The world-famous Eden Project is 15 miles away and is not to be missed. Its mind-blowing ‘biomes’ housing incredible living landscapes have made it one of the top visitor destinations in the country. Keep your eye out for the numerous special events and live music performances held at the site year-round.
