Queensbury Loft is a stylish studio hideaway tucked away in the heart of Par, just a stone’s throw from the beach and the charm of Cornish village life. Set on the first floor of a converted loft space, this light-filled apartment is made with couples in mind, a place to press pause, kick back, and breathe in the sea air. With private off-road parking for one car, you'll have no trouble coming and going as you explore the coast. Step inside and you'll find an open-plan living space that’s been thoughtfully put together, uncluttered, inviting, and effortlessly relaxed. The kitchen has all the gear you’ll need to whip up a bite to eat, and there's a table set for two when you're ready to sit down and enjoy it.
After a day out wandering cliff paths or sinking your toes into the sand, stretch out on the sofa and pop something on the Smart TV (Netflix is ready to go). When the sun’s shining, make the most of the shared garden outside, there’s a lawn, loungers, and a quiet spot to flick through a book or enjoy a lazy glass of something cold. Whether you’re planning long walks, day trips, or just a bit of seaside stillness, Butlers Loft is your laid-back base for two. When you're ready to retire for the night, make your way to the welcoming double bedroom, where you can enjoy a rejuvenating sleep.
The property also benefits from a sleek shower room, complete with a walk-in shower, where you can freshen up each morning. At Queensbury Loft, you'll feel a sense of calm as you reflect on the historic and natural beauty you're surrounded by in this enchanting part of the world. Note: This property can be booked with refs. 1179621, 1179986 and 1179988, together sleeping up to eight guests.
Par village is located on the South Cornwall coast offering a sandy family and dog-friendly beach (dogs allowed all year round) on St. Austell Bay. The village is only 2.5 miles away from the internationally renowned Eden Project, which can be reached on foot through the leafy green Luxulyan Valley. Between Par and the picturesque harbour of Fowey, is the Gribbin Peninsula, which has magnificent views of the surrounding coastline and makes for an excellent walk. Close to Par are many places connected to the author Daphne du Maurier, including the small cove at Polkerris which boasts the Rashleigh Arms and which takes its name from a local landowner whose house was frequented by the author. There are many attractions in the area including the China Clay Country Park and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A fabulous location to explore the rich heritage and magnificent coastline of South Cornwall.
