The cottage is generally well-equipped, with extra radiators for colder evenings and a good location close to Truro. However, there were issues with hot water availability and suggestions for updates to the bathroom and kitchen floors.
Guests were delighted by the thoughtful touch of a welcoming cream tea, which included cheese scones, jam, and cream. It's important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, may not always be provided.

Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This courtyard cottage has a cosy open plan living, kitchen and dining area. It is owned by an artist whose work is featured in the interiors. There is a shared courtyard garden and lawn to the front of the property and a small lawn at the rear of the property (with shared access). Centrally located just a short drive from both the north and south coasts, wonderful beaches, quaint harbours, pretty villages and stunning coastal paths. Take in the scenery on the King Harry Ferry over to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula or a boat trip on the River Fal. Whether you like to be in the water, on the water or just by the water, there is something to suit everyone. From paddle boarding or kayaking to surfing and body boarding. There is a choice of National Trust properties and gardens close by as well as the Eden Project.
In Cornwall’s capital city of Truro, you will find the stunning Truro Cathedral towering above the rest of the city, enjoy shopping in the many chain stores, speciality shops and markets. You may be lucky enough to visit when the local produce markets or continental markets are in town and can often be found on Lemon Quay. Truro is also home to the fantastic Royal Cornwall Museum and ’The Hall for Cornwall’ which hosts theatre productions and shows as well as a four-screen cinema. Take time to explore the cobbled streets, beautiful gardens and historic buildings. After a busy day on your feet, why not relax in one of the many cafés, bars and restaurants the city has to offer.
Falmouth is just a short drive away with the bustling sheltered harbour. From fishing trips and scenic pleasure cruises along the river Fal, to wildlife cruises and diving trips, there are so many wonderful adventures to be enjoyed. Falmouth is home to some fabulous restaurants, shops and the National Maritime Museum. With many stunning beaches close by you will never be stuck for choice. The central location means you can reach every part of Cornwall. Lands End, St Ives, St Michaels Mount, and the Lizard Peninsula are all within driving distance. Cornwall is home to the South West Coast path, as well as countless footpaths, walking and cycling trails including the well known Camel Trail.

Lovely little cottage in a quiet location but near to local immunities. seven minutes drive into Truro, beautiful walking idlless woods only 10 minute drive away also the cows and sows nearby do lovely cakes which we really enjoyed , would definitely recommend,

We enjoyed our stay at Sage cottage with some reservations as pointed out above. The bathroom needs updating and the floors in the bathroom and kitchen need cleaning. We enjoyed the cream tea and lovely artwork done by the owner.
