Porhellik is a spacious and well-equipped cottage in a peaceful location, just a short walk from the beautiful Porthtowan beach and coastal paths. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, modern decor, and suitability for families or groups. The property is light, airy, and offers excellent Wi-Fi and parking. While the approach road is unmade and can be challenging, and one guest noted the need for a deeper clean in some areas, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests returning for multiple stays.
Most guests found the property very clean, immaculate, and well looked after, with only occasional mentions of cobwebs and an oven needing a deeper clean.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and coast paths, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to local attractions, though the steep hill and unmade road are noted.
Guests describe the cottage as spacious, light, airy, and comfortable, with good showers and beds, though one guest suggested the front bedroom bed could be upgraded.
The property is well equipped for self-catering, with plenty of dishes, cutlery, and modern amenities. Parking for two cars and strong Wi-Fi are appreciated. Some maintenance concerns about the access road were mentioned.
There are no specific mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Our third stay at this lovely property. It is well looked after and an ideal location, as a short walking distance to porthtowan beach and close driving distance to other places such as St Agnes, Perranporth, Truro, Portreath. We had two cars, a visitors space was always free for the second car we had which was a bonus. Very spacious property for the 4 of us. Ideal to have the double option in all 3 bedrooms. We'll be back next year. Highly recommend.

This property was up an unmade road, and was on first impressions clean. However, we felt that a deep clean was needed as there were a number of cobwebs around the house and the oven would've benefited from a professional clean as it smelt of burning fat when used. Having said that it was well equipped and very comfortable.
