Mortreth is a modern, spacious three-bedroom end row cottage in the seaside village of Porthtowan, just 5 minutes off the A30. It is a short walk from the beach and the village’s many amenities. With a balcony overlooking the bay, Mortreth is a modern open plan property with a fully fitted kitchen, separate dining area, and a bright, airy living area. The open plan living and dining areas lead through patio doors to the private balcony with table and chairs, and views of the bay and beach and it’s a great place to watch the sun go down. Alternatively relax in the cottage garden and catch the last of the evening sun.

Porthtowan is a small village nestling into the cliffs of the north coast of Cornwall, there are plenty of cafés and bars to choose from if you don’t want to cook. The beach is set in an attractive cove with a large, sandy, Blue Flag beach bordered by rock pools. It lies on the National Trust Coast Path and the main attractions of Cornwall are all within easy reach. For walkers why not explore the Wheal Coates Mine, follow the footpath from St Agnes to Portreath or visit the mysterious Gwennap Pit? For the more adventurous and families, Base camp at Gwelan Mor offers indoor fun for all ages or take the Bissoe trail from Portreath to Bissoe and back. There is so much to do and after a busy day come back and relax looking at the stars. Beach 352 yards.
