About this property

Probus 3.2 miles. Truro 6 miles.

Mill Retreat is a delightful ground floor studio apartment set within the oldest part of Bissick Old Mill, an historic 17th century watermill located in the pretty village of Ladock. Equidistant to both north and south coasts of Cornwall and close to the stunning Roseland Peninsula makes it an ideal touring base. In particular couples with pets and pets themselves are really well catered for with one of the owners, a former veterinary nurse, offering dog sitting and walking, allowing you a day out or special evening meal in full knowledge that your faithful pets are also enjoying their holiday. The spacious apartment is full of character with stone flag floors and exposed beams offering an open plan living room with a double bed, sitting and dining areas, a fully fitted kitchen and a modern fitted shower room. It opens out from the private entrance onto the courtyard at the front of the Old Mill. There are beautiful walks right from the door in and around the village itself and in particular the circular walk in Ladock Woods to the Holy Well in the river valley. For a special occasion just around the corner from the Old Mill is the Falmouth Arms, an old coaching Inn and Pennypots restaurant, the very first Michelin star restaurant in Cornwall and now offering superb meals in a traditional Cornish Pub setting. Mill Retreat offers great accommodation in an ideal location, perfect for both couples and their pets alike.

Note: This property can be booked with ref. 1152478, sleeping up to four guests.
