The lodge was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed having the hot tub as well. The complex is within easy reach of some lovely Cornish beaches. My main reason for marking it down was it's location which was close to the road with only a hedge in between. The A3075 road is very busy with traffic day and night which can be heard inside the lodge. We live in a quiet location so we are not used to traffic noise. The exit from the complex onto the road is extremely difficult as the hedge obscures the view of oncoming vehicles which can be approaching at speed. The lodge itself is accessed via a gate and 3 upward steps onto a small patio. This could be hazardous for young children and older adults. In my view the gate would be better at the top of the steps not the bottom. Obviously thie steps make access for disabled people impossible..The hot tub is wonderful but as there is no access to the sides it makes removing and replacing the cover extremely difficult. The patio needs to be about 1 meter wider to make this much easier. Finally the internal access road is very rough with potholes. No views from the lodge windows other than bins and other lodges. We will not be returning.
