Nearby is the city of Truro, home to coastal villages, beaches and of course the cobbled streets, and independent shops. Threemilestone itself has a variety of local shops including a branch of Cornwall's oldest bakeries, reowned for it's pasties, as well as an array of takeaways, restaurants and a great local pub, the Victoria Inn. The property is also in close proximity to RCH Treliske and Truro College which are reachable by a short car journey. Highfield House Studio is a great base for a memorable holiday, the lots of interesting places well worth a visit within driving distance, the ancient ruins of Tintagel Castle famous with links to the legend of King Arthur and the round table, St Just, Poldark Country is also less than an hours drive away. If a beach holiday is what your looking for, the seaside resort of Newquay and it's beautiful Fistral beach is just a scenic drive away, with surf schools and wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, it is great for a day out, or visit the beautiful fishing village of Padstow where you can sample Rick Steins famous fish and chips.
