Guests say

Wild Rose cottage in Delabole is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and thoughtful touches for both guests and dogs. Its proximity to coastal walks, beaches, and a 'secret' beach adds to its charm. The hot tub is a recurring highlight, and the property is deemed excellent value for money. Guests appreciate the quiet location, though some note it's a bit remote.

Guests consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' and 'spotless'. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment is evident.

The location is appreciated for its beauty and proximity to coastal walks and beaches. It is described as quiet and peaceful, though some guests mention it is somewhat remote, requiring a drive for most amenities.

The cottage is generally regarded as comfortable, with one guest noting the bed was a bit hard. The peaceful setting contributes to the comfort level, but there is a mention of it being 'a little pokey' for a family of four with teenagers.

Facilities like the hot tub, Nespresso coffee machine, and dog-friendly amenities are well-received. The property is equipped for cooking and relaxation, with only a single mention of a hard bed slightly affecting the score.

The provision of dog towels, blankets, feeding bowls, poo bags, treats, and even a holiday dog tag demonstrates a high level of thoughtfulness. While gifts such as treats are mentioned, it's important to note that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

Had a relaxing week at wild Rose cottage. Our second visit and I doubt it will be our last. The location is beautiful with the coastal walks and beaches on the doorstep.

Loved our holiday .. quite remote but a magical walk to a secluded beach. Short drive For most things.. house well equipped.. my only nag is the bed was quite hard.. always difficult sleeping in a new bed .. but I did need to spend a couple of nights sleeping in the soft sofa.
