Through from this bedroom is an adjoining children's bedroom featuring a triple height bunk bed; just the facility for them to snuggle down in and hear stories of pirates and treasure hunters! The comfortable seating means everyone can gather together at the end of the day to catch up on a box set together or perhaps have a games night. Two further bedrooms on the second floor level also capture the views: the master bedroom gives ample storage space with has been kitted out with stylish furniture to add that touch of luxury. On the other side of the sitting room, a king bedroom has the advantage of a shower room ensuite, meaning adults in here can enjoy their own personal space.

Treveth Lowen is a superbly located retreat as the local beaches are a very short drive away but you can still return to your own escape at the end of the day. Port Quin is very close down the country lane and is a fantastic bay where you can swim, kayak, snorkel or at low tide, just explore the rockpools at low tide. Walking south along the coastal path, you can look down from the cliffs to the smaller coves of Epphaven and Carnweather. For a piece of the action, head to Polzeath where you can book surf lessons, hire wetsuits and take to the waves for that fix in the sea. Down the coast from Polzeath you will find Daymer Bay and Rock where watersports such as windsurfing, sailing and paddleboards can be undertaken. If you prefer, just potter along the sands and sample the local cafes and restaurants for a more laid back time here. However you choose to fill your days, you will be delighted to return to Treveth Lowen at the end of them.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village.
