Set in the hamlet of Harlyn Bay, less than 3 miles from the picturesque riverside town and fishing port of Padstow, is Sharmalyn House. This spacious but homely house is a short 200 metre stroll along a private footpath to one of the best family beaches in Cornwall. It is the perfect destination for a well-earned family holiday by the sea. The four bedrooms offer a combination of sleeping arrangements to suit all. With two double bedrooms, both of which benefit en-suite facilities, including a twin bedroom. The bunk room is ideal for the children, everybody will be catered for. The large open-plan living room with a non-operational feature, slate fireplace, is a comfortable space for all the family to gather and plan the day ahead, or reflect on yet another memorable trip to the beach. From the patio doors, you can access the private south-facing sun terrace and enjoy relaxed alfresco dining whatever time of day. With a well-earned reputation as one of the safest beaches in Cornwall, Harlyn Bay is also an ideal place to learn to surf, with one of the surf schools operating from the beach, and there are many rock pools to fascinate the children. Make the most of the accommodation's close proximity, and come and go as you please throughout your stay. Not only that, you have the beautiful South West Coast Path and all the amenities at Padstow, which lies at the end of the Camel Trail. Try surfing, cycling and even a boat trip or two. Relax and enjoy a varied holiday from this superb holiday home.

Harlyn is a little village, with a large crescent-shaped beach known as Harlyn Bay. It is connected to the South West Coastal Path and part of the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' area. Constantine Bay just two miles away and Padstow is also close by, situated at the end of the Camel Trail. Local fisherman's boats offer coastal tours and sea fishing trips, while a passenger ferry takes you across the estuary to Rock.
