About this property

Beautifully designed and wonderfully positioned, Cornish Soul is a superb boutique villa on Cornwall’s north coast near Padstow; where spectacular sea views and a luxurious interior combine to form a one-of-a-kind place that’s perfect for family holidays and making memories together.

Lovingly rebuilt in 2017, the owners have created something very special indeed, with their passion for what has been their family getaway for more than two decades, evident in the home’s exquisite detail and high-quality design. Striking a harmonious balance between elegance and practicality, the house is laid out in an H-formation with the interior feeling spacious and light-filled thanks to its marvellous selection of Velux windows and high apex ceilings. There are cosy spaces to retreat to for solitude, and welcoming spaces to come together in, including a lovely open plan living, dining and cooking space complete with the most inviting of L-shaped sofas and a stunning one-off Siematic kitchen.

Four gorgeous double bedrooms mean plenty of relaxing space for all to enjoy, with the exquisite master suite spanning the entire length of the house. All rooms have deeply comfortable super king size beds and their own en-suite bathrooms with each boasting either breathtaking sea views or a calming verdant outlook.

With relaxation being a key element to the home’s exceptional design, the downstairs spa room has a Jacuzzi hot tub as well as a steam room, with long beanbag loungers perfect for drifting off to the sounds of the beach and waves in the distance. Outside, the grounds and garden are equally as pristine, with a manicured lawn and a sweeping drive that is flanked by Cornish stone walls. To the rear of the house, a large terrace is bathed in sunshine and along with a gas BBQ, outdoor lounge suite, outdoor dining table and dining chairs, makes for a gorgeous spot to enjoy outdoor dining or sunbathing.

Ideally placed on the coast, there are a selection of wonderful beaches to explore including Treyarnon Bay which is on the property's doorstep. A wealth of bays and cliffs can be discovered via the plethora of coastal paths and walks in the area and offer plenty of opportunity to relish some of the most spectacular sea and landscape views. Nearby Padstow is a must-visit fishing port made more popular in recent years by one of its most illustrious resident chefs; the fabulous Rick Stein, whose restaurants and 'fish and chips' café are a firm favourite with all who visit the area.

On approach to the house, guests will turn in to the resin bound drive through wooden gates that lie between the Cornish stone walls. Three large granite steps lead to the front door and the entrance is into the centre of the house which is built in the shape of an H. To the left is the open plan living, dining, cooking space and to the right, the stairs, the downstairs bedroom, spa and utility room. The whole house has underfloor ground source heating.
