A fantastic spacious barn conversion with an enclosed garden, a perfect base for a family holiday and pet friendly. Within walking distance of the beautiful Porthcothan Bay.
Soak up the sunshine, bask in the heat of the wood burner and play table tennis with your family or friends out in the garden at this handsome, stone barn on a working barn at Carnevas in Cornwall. Situated just 1 mile from Treyarnon, this generous, five-bedroom retreat sleeps nine guests, making it a perfect option for anyone on a group break with family or friends. Opening on to a terrace and the enclosed, lawned garden, it could also be ideal for dog-lovers keen to bring along a four-legged friend.
Wander inside to find this barn has been carefully converted with your comfort in mind. Offering airy accommodation, with a few steps between certain spaces, it features a large lounge with a wood burner and TV at its heart. Open the French doors in here on sunny days so everyone can spill out into the garden easily. The kitchen/diner, with ample space for food storage and preparation has a table you can all gather round for your lively holiday meals. Also at ground-floor level are a utility room and family shower room. A family bathroom is on the first floor, together with three king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, a twin and a single. The enclosed garden is idyllic for outside dining, family games and letting your pup bound free. There is parking for two cars at the property, with extra space available by request.
The beautiful, sandy beach at Porthcothan Bay, where you can paddle, swim and picnic, is less than 1 mile from the barn, while Treyarnon Bay, backed by sand dunes and surrounded by low cliffs, is 1.5 miles away. Pick up the South West Coast Path some 700 metres from the barn then strike out in either direction for exhilarating walks with magnificent views.

We found the barn comfortable and spacious accommodation for a four generation stay involving three families (including a great grandmother and 2 under 4’s and dogs). Note no ground floor bedroom. Lovely walk over the headland close by and lovely beach within walking distance. A tumble dryer would have been useful.

Perfect holiday home for larger families. Very spacious, with a nice garden for children to play in and outside activities. Standard of amenities was very good also. We had an amazing time, it did help that the weather was fantastic
