Snaptrip says

Molly's Cottage in St Just, Cornwall, is praised for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and proximity to local amenities. Guests appreciate the scenic walks and the cottage's charm, though some mention difficulties with parking and suggest improvements to certain facilities.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage consistently receives compliments for its cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'sparklingly clean' and 'very clean'. This indicates a high standard of hygiene and care.

The location is appreciated for its quietness, proximity to the town centre, and local pubs. However, the parking difficulties and the distance from the beach have been noted as drawbacks by some guests.

Guests find the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, but there are comments about the quality of the mattresses and the need for better lighting and additional blankets, suggesting room for improvement in overall comfort.

While the cottage is well-equipped, guests have reported issues with the shower temperature, lack of Wi-Fi, and the need for better maintenance in some areas. These factors have led to a moderate score in this category.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owner towards the guests, hence it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

About this property

This 19th century miners cottage is situated in the small town of St Just, this is England's most westerly town. It has been beautifully restored to provide a cosy and welcoming base for enjoying all the facilities the town offers and exploring this magical part of the county. Step up from the front door into the small hall and then into the charming sitting room with its atmospheric beams, comfy sofa and electric fire. It also has a dining table where you can enjoy meals prepared in the well equipped kitchen. Head upstairs at the end of the day to two comfortable bedrooms, with glimpses of the sea from the single room. Outside you have a neat enclosed patio which can be accessed from the kitchen, making it an ideal space to eat alfresco. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, wander to the friendly pubs and cafes on the doorstep. The town is interesting, with a range of good galleries and little shops, and all around is spectacular scenery to walk and admire. Cape Cornwall, Cot Valley and Porth Nanven cove with its strange dinosaur eggs are stunning places to visit, or walk the South West Coast Path to observe prehistoric remains and dramatic mine ruins. For surfers, Sennen Cove is famous for its waves. Land's End, Pendeen Lighthouse, Geevor Mine, St Ives and the Minack Theatre should all be on your itinerary too, meaning Molly's Cottage will be a restful and welcome base at the end of action-packed days.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall.

We've stayed in approximately 8/9 different places in St Just over 20 year's and this is by far the worst. We're here for another week but thank goodness we are staying in a lovely place for the 3rd time for our 2nd week.

Generally happy with our stay , could do with some TLC in places , but nothing that compromises your comfort or holiday, great location for visiting all the surrounding areas, pizza place in the village is highly recommended
