Jims Cottage is a beautiful renovated holiday home which sleeps 4 persons in comfort, with lovely sea views across the St. Mawes harbour to the Lizard Peninsula. From Jims Cottage it is an approx. 250 metre downhill walk to the centre of the very popular fishing village of St. Mawes with its excellent range of facilities.
The tiled hall gives access to the garage (with utility and washing machine), the cloakroom with w.c. and wash hand basin, the family bath/wet room with bath, shower, w.c. and wash hand basin, the main bedroom with kingsize bed and fitted wardrobes.
The hall leads through to the large oak floored living area with fabulous views of the harbour, St. Anthony's Peninsula, Falmouth Bay, the Lizard Peninsula and Place Manor. This well-furnished open plan room consists of:
Lounge with comfortable leather sofas, TV, DVD, DAB radio system and access to Wi-Fi.
Conservatory with double doors to the garden all with super sea views.
Dining area
Well equipped kitchen, again, with lovely water views, electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven.
The twin bedded room leads off the lounge.
The well-stocked terraced garden, with garden furniture for alfresco dining, is a great place to take in the sea views whilst enjoying a drink and a meal.
South facing, the garden attracts the sun all day long.
Jims Cottage benefits from oil fired central heating which makes for a warm holiday home all year round.
Access to the parking area is down a steep drive with limited turning space at the bottom. Some clients may prefer to reverse down. There is parking for two cars.
