You could be forgiven for thinking you’re on a boat, in this aptly named apartment, when you look through the open plan living area’s large floor to ceiling windows and double sliding doors, which lead out to a seaward facing balcony, with endless views of the ocean, this is mirrored with a contemporary coastal theme throughout, curl up on one of the two matching cream leather sofas, take a peek through the supplied pair of telescopic binoculars with tripod and see if you can spot dolphins playing in the surf below, or enjoy the entertainment on the 40″ Samsung television with full sky package, including cinema and sports, or chilling to your favourite tune on the Sony music system, alternatively step onto your large private decked balcony with stunning views of St Ives Bay, Porthminster Beach and out to Godrevy Lighthouse.

The kitchen and dining area are within the open plan living space, so those preparing meals can socialise with guests, and to benefit from the sea views, a stylish circular glass and chrome table with four walnut dining chairs with leather pads for your comfort, provide a wonderful setting for dining in, alternatively the balcony offers an alfresco option overlooking the beach, the contemporary kitchen, with a spacious breakfast bar, cream units, black granite worktops and splash backs, is well-appointed with everything a chef desires, a utility cupboard in the hallway houses a washer/dryer.

There are two comfortable bedrooms to choose from, the master en-suite room with bath and shower-over, has a super king bed perfectly positioned to view Porthminster Beach and St Ives Bay, through floor to ceiling double doors, leading to a private seaward facing balcony, nothing quite matches waking up to the sounds and sight of the ocean, the second king sized bedroom is conveniently located next to the family bathroom at the rear, each room is well presented with sumptuously dressed beds in Egyptian cotton and offer ample storage space.

The family bathroom with bath and shower over, is next to bedroom two and offers a relaxing space to escape soaking off the sand in a hot bath. Ah bliss.

Your private balcony, accessed from the lounge and master bedroom, sits above one of St Ives most beautiful beaches with panoramic sea views across the bay to Gwithian, a wonderful space to dine alfresco, a table with six matching chairs and two sun loungers to soak up the sun are provided.

Dining out is a pleasure as St Ives has so many cafes and restaurants, the one right on the beach below has been awarded a Michelin Plate, Porthminster Beach Café, like many others it has a menu full of foodie favourites with views as good as the food, St Ives has a pretty arc shaped harbour with

cobbled streets, dotted with independent shops and art galleries, filled with local art inspired by the town, to see how this tourist hot spot as inspired so many artists visit the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

St Ives surrounding area is mesmerising too, cliffside walks like the nearby South West Coast Path, are full of flora, fauna, native and migrating birds to enjoy, locally it heads towards Zenor or Hayle, like the scenic railway, runs alongside the beaches and sea, for breath-taking views all the way, including the slice of paradise that is Carbis Bay Beach, like many in St Ives, its lifeguarded in season, and offers waters ports in its azure waters. Cornwall has so much more than beaches to explore including historic castles, secret coves and glorious gardens just a few exciting attractions to discover, Pendennis Castle, an artillery fort constructed by Henry VIII near Falmouth, St Michaels Mount, a castle set on its own island near Penzance, which has a man-made causeway of granite setts which you can walk out to at low tide, Tintagel Castle set high on Cornwall's rugged north coast and linked with the legend of King Arthur, all offer exciting days out, searching for the smugglers coves, traditional harbours and filming locations used in the BBC TV series Poldark, Doc Cotton or the Fisherman’s Friends movie, or walking above a tropical rainforest on a canopy walkway at the Eden Project, near St Austell, will provide many selfie moments to treasure forever.

Children aged 12 welcome and infants up to age 3 with cot and highchair provided, we request that guests provide their own cot bedding, one allocated underground car park space - there is a limited height in the car parking space of 2.1m at the front, reducing to 1.75m at the back., seaward facing decked balcony, outside furniture including table and chairs, 2 x sun loungers, sorry no pets, no smoking, shops, beaches, and pubs within a short walk.
NOTE: Complimentary spa passes are provided for 2 guests at HarSPA at the Harbour Hotel, the passes include 20% discount off spa treatments Monday - Friday, food in the HarBAR.
Access is valid until the 30th September 2022; Membership is reviewed annually by the owner for the following year and is subject to renewal.
