Rooftops is a characterful apartment located on the southwest coast in the town of St Ives, Cornwall, just a short walk from the beach. With a gorgeous, colourful interior and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space this property is a wonderful spot for you to whisk away your family and friends for a scenic countryside escape. Upon entering your holiday home you will be warmly welcomed by the stylish layout of the living space with a kitchen and dining space which is fully-equipped for making home-cooked meals, socialising at the breakfast bar and enjoying a soothing evening in front of the TV with your feet up. You will also find two wonderful bedrooms which invite you to rest, with both having a TV should you fancy a late night movie before getting some shut eye. Alternatively, use the bathroom for a nice, hot soak in the freestanding bath before you get tucked in, or freshen up in the king-size’s en-suite shower room. Once you’re all woken up and ready to take on the day, the coastal town of St Ives has plenty to offer you with the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, the gorgeous sea views from Man's Head and Porthmeor Beach with beautiful blue views of the sea and a popular spot for surfers and swimmers. Slightly further out, but easily accessible by car, you have King George V Memorial Walk for a tranquil stroll along the river, Terrace Hayle for a spot of Italian food on your travels and Roger's Tower for the chance to take in the wider landscape. You can also make your way to the nearby town of Penzance for a visit to Penlee House Gallery & Museum, Trengwainton Garden and Penzance Harbour Lighthouse. Perched on the south-west coast of Scotland, is the bustling town of Ayr. This popular seaside resort lies a mere 40 miles from Glasgow city and is the perfect spot to get away from city life. Here, you will also find the 16th century, Ayr Racecourse which is the venue of the Scottish Grand National, the Ayrshire Handicap and the Ayr Gold Cup, in addition to three golf courses. Within the town you will also find a magnitude of historical landmarks to explore, including Burns Cottage, Loudoun Hall and St. John's Tower. To the South of the town is the majestic Galloway Forest Park which houses breath-taking views and the dramatic scenery of the towering mountains of Merrick, Mulwharcher and the Rhinns of Kells, that are waiting to be explored.
