About this property

Monowai Heights, a chic ground-floor apartment in Cornwall, enjoys views of the azure waves of Carbis Bay Beach, offering the ideal base for a seascape. The apartment welcomes four guests and features a contemporary open-plan living area, a lovely conservatory with bi-fold doors onto the private patio, a shared garden, and easy access to the South West Coast Path. Park up and descend the stairs, ready to be amazed by the roomy living area, which is dotted with plush seating, a Smart TV, an indulgent electric fire, a grand dining table, a convenient breakfast bar, and a fully-integrated kitchen with contemporary fixtures. After meals, relax on either the front or back patio spaces, which are also suitable for alfresco dining, before taking a stroll around the communal garden or unwinding in the conservatory, offering far-reaching views of the coastline. When sleep calls, choose from two gorgeous king-size bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, both serviced by a bathroom, which hosts both a bath and a shower. Wake up to the crisp sea air whilst enjoying views over to Godrevy Lighthouse and Island, both steeped in history, before taking the coastal path to Hawkes Point for its breath-taking views or to take advantage of the variety of amenities right outside your door. Prior to reaching Hayle with its lovely beach, Fisherman's Wharf, the Paradise Park and the JungleBarn Cornwall, head to St Ives, just a train stop away, ready to tour the Tate art gallery, climb to Clodgy Point, or visit the well-known Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. Before returning to your residence for the sunset, travel south and make a stop at Penzance Promenade and Harbour, before visiting Penlee House Gallery & Museum. Monowai Heights, offers all of this and more.

The beachfront community of Carbis Bay, which is only a short drive from famous St. Ives, is well-known for its stunning stretch of fine, white sand. The beach feels almost subtropical with its turquoise seas and protected surroundings, making it the ideal location for a traditional day by the sea. If sunbathing is not really your thing, why not rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and venture out on the water instead? The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach. Or why not treat yourself to a spa day at the charming hotel that has a gorgeous patio where you can sip cocktails while enjoying the Cornish sunlight and views out onto the beach? Along with a takeout serving fish and chips and a railway branch line, Carbis Bay features a limited selection of neighbourhood stores and eateries. One of the most picturesque train rides in the nation takes passengers from Carbis Bay to St. Ives; St. Ives itself is a wonderful day trip destination with a variety of art galleries to see. There are family-friendly activities nearby, including golf and a wildlife sanctuary, in the quayside town of Hayle.

We couldn't sleep well and it was very uncomfortable. Also the ventilation is not so good in the bathrooms. What a pity for such a great apartment.
