... in the historic heart of St Ives, a short walk from Porthgwidden and Porthmeor beaches and from the harbour, a ground-floor apartment for two, once the pilchard cellar of an early 19th cent. fisherman’s house. Neatly renovated; small, but an excellent base.
Entrance from Teetotal Street into fitted kitchen (microwave) with breakfast bar, beyond which the living area with comfy sofa, rug, nice pictures, TV/DVD/Blu-ray. Double bedroom (access to one side of bed only). Internal shower-room (suite). No children, except pre-crawling babies. Sleeps maximum of 2, including baby. A brilliant base for a car-less holiday: railway station, 1 mile, and space for bicycles in front of apartment; excellent, award-winning restaurants within easy walking distance.
