The views from the property are outstanding. I could sit looking out of the window all day. We have stayed in the flat on numerous occasions and would recommend it.

I inadvertently left the key to our holiday flat in the bedroom when we went out to dinner and when we returned at 9pm was unable to get assistance from St Ives Holidays until 9am the next morning. I telephoned the company that evening to learn from a recorded message "The office is closed until 9am. In an emergency call the number on our booking documents or the one in the Welcome Pack". As I do not carry all the booking documents with me when I go out for a meal and the Welcome Pack ( I assume would have been in the flat, had there been one, which there wasn't) we had access to neither and therefore no means of contact. We tried the police (no help), a locksmith (ditto, as we were not the owners). Fortunately, The Sloop Inn came to our rescue with rooms but at a cost of £160. The next morning I telephoned St Ives Holidays to be informed a new key would be provided within 4 hours. When I pointed out that I was an insulin dependant diabetic with a heart condition, my wife has a heart failure and neither had had access to our medication since last evening the lady said it would be treated as an emergency. We were in by 11am I have e subsequently learned and would strongly recommend St Ives Holidays adopt the the same procedure as other letting companies and have an emergency option key on their recorded message when the office is closed. On the bright side had the incident happened on a Saturday evening we would have been unable to contact the company until Monday morning.
