Whatever you choose to do, enjoy a memorable romantic escape to Cornwall by booking Flat 3, Pentowan Court.

The beachfront community of Carbis Bay, which is only a short drive from famous St. Ives, is well-known for its stunning stretch of fine, white sand. The beach feels almost subtropical with its turquoise seas and protected surroundings, making it the ideal location for a traditional day by the sea. If sunbathing is not really your thing, why not rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and venture out on the water instead? The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach. Or why not treat yourself to a spa day at the charming hotel that has a gorgeous patio where you can sip cocktails while enjoying the Cornish sunlight and views out onto the beach? Together with a takeout serving fish and chips and a railway branch line, Carbis Bay features a limited selection of neighbourhood stores and eateries. One of the most picturesque train rides in the nation takes passengers from Carbis Bay to St. Ives; St. Ives itself is a wonderful day trip destination with a variety of art galleries to see. There are family-friendly activities nearby, including golf and a wildlife sanctuary, in the quayside town of Hayle. Easily accessible from Carbis Bay, the Godrevy Natural Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast offer even more opportunities for outdoor and watersports enthusiasts to engage in activities like coasteering and birdwatching. The flat was very well equipped, and my Son throughly enjoyed staying there. We found that the property had a bit of a damp smell, which although he didn't notice or mind. Recycling for glass, was also a bit unclear. But all in all, good.

Great location, ideal for walks along the coast, and perfect for trains to St Ives. Comfortable, clean and quiet, just what we needed

Very close to all nearby attractions, great location! Easy parking facilities. Amazing bathroom and kitchen facilities with everything you need in the kitchen. Close to nearby supermarkets by car. Would recommend providing more towels and toilet roll for stays over 3 nights. I'm not sure if the other apartments are permanent residents or guests as well but when using the communal garden, these people were very nosey and made us feel quite uncomfortable by staring out of the window at us, but other than this, we had a really good overall stay!
