About this property

Poised overlooking Carbis Bay’s aquamarine waters, this modern four bedroom home enjoys the best of both location and layout, offering guests a fantastic getaway in one of Cornwall’s most beautiful coastal destinations. Taking advantage of its elevated position above the bay, Chapel View has been designed to showcase magnificent views from nearly every room, with a series of glass doors and large windows framing the ocean beyond.

Perfect for family holidays, the house is set over three floors with a spacious open plan living and entertainment area creating the social hub of the property. Incorporated into this space is a sprawling kitchen; amply equipped to handle even the most complicated of menus with ease, as well as a large dining area for converging round to share conversation and home-cooked meals. Huge glass sliding doors spill out to a wonderful, decked patio, where sea views stretch in an ever-changing panorama making it the perfect spot to enjoy a light alfresco lunch or an evening drink or two.

A contemporary living room completes the entertainment space, where two comfy sofas and a flats screen tv (with full Sky package) invite afternoons of relaxation and cosy nights in, and a feature bay window at the far end of the room makes for a lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee or for catching up on a good book. Three gorgeous bedrooms on the ground floor mean plenty of private space for all to retreat to after days spent exploring the delights of the surrounding coastline, and three bathrooms on this floor mean there’s no waiting in line for morning freshen ups and post-beach de-sanding.

Spanning all of the top floor lies the fabulous master suite with its super king size bed and fantastic sea views from its picture window. It's the perfect retreat for mums and dads looking to enjoy a lazy coffee in bed away from the sounds of breakfast chatter downstairs, and a bench seat with cushions gives guests an extraordinary vantage point from which to view that bay. In addition to its stunning sea-facing balcony, Chapel View features another outside space in the form of a sunshine splashed courtyard garden, where a BBQ and outdoor seating makes for the ideal way to enjoy fresh air dining and a glass of bubbly.

Just a short stroll down the hill, Carbis Bay’s Blue Flag beach sparkles in secluded grandeur with its turquoise blue waters and bleached sands perfect for family-friendly days of relaxation. Home to a variety of water-sports equipment hire, there are SUP safaris, eco tours and lessons on offer so that visitors of all ages and abilities can take to the surf. Nearby St Ives bustles with restaurants and boutique shops, so for non-beach days there’s plenty to see and do in the area.
