We had a couple of issues at start with the bed slats falling off, however contacted the Agents and they very quickly fixed the problem. There is a wonderful beach side restaurant next to the beach with spectacular views and reasonably priced would highly recommend. Train ride to St Ives is a must and only £1.00 per person each way. A beautiful place to visit.

Although when we came to cook dinner we had to wash every pan before we could use it,the wok was rusty. The lights above the washer/dryer were caked in grease/ dust and the opening windows were filthy inside and out. There was a cigarette above the cooker for some reason (none of our party smoked) We had issues with the heating especially at night when it went colder we followed instructions but to no avail. We eventually phoned Carbis bay who did exactly what we did but still the temperature did not move. Unfortunately we didn’t see the housekeeping notice which was hidden under our coats which we filled on arrival. A nail clipping greeted us on the dining room table. There was a hair in the bowls just as we were putting dinner out so we quickly had to wash all the plates, The apartment was full of dust and hair , I actually swept up on the Sunday under the settee and I was going to vacuum,However the bag in the vacuum was absolutely full to bursting. I was a little bit taken aback at the standard of cleaning and I’ll be suprised if it was actually cleaned prior to our visit. We arrived at 3 and were suprised to be able to get into the apartment. I didn’t want to say anything at the time because I didn’t want the hassle of someone coming in whilst we were there. I was on holiday. Disappointed to say the least my son was also disappointed because we couldn’t find the charging lead to the PlayStation. But other than that we had a good time !
