This luxury first floor apartment enjoys panoramic views of one of Cornwall’s most beautiful bays from open plan kitchen, diner & sitting room. A wall of bay windows in the sitting area frame this picture postcard view across Carbis Bay beach to St Ives and across to the infamous Godrevy Lighthouse, as featured in ‘The Lighthouse No More’ by Virginia Woolf. Its clever open plan design means whether you’re dining, cooking or relaxing you’ll be able to enjoy the view.
Sleeping four in two comfortable bedrooms and close to the beach and dramatic cliff path walks, its ideal for a family holiday or romantic retreat. Take a window seat, stretching the width of the room, in the sitting area and enjoy spotting dolphins playing in the surf below. Alternatively relax on the plush L shaped sofa, seating five, watching the ever changing colours of the ocean or enjoying the entertainment on the Ultra HD 4K Smart TV with Netflix. The dining area is perfectly positioned within the open plan living & kitchen area, boasting amazing coastal views. A grand wooden dining table with five chic leather grey chairs let you dine in style.
A well-appointed fully fitted kitchen offers everything you require and more. Enjoy preparing dinner at the island with the most incredible coastal views. Both bedrooms are to the rear and are separated from the living area by sliding glass doors. Ideal if someone wants to sleep while others are still enjoying the living area. A master en-suite bedroom has a beautifully dressed king-size bed and a clean Scandinavian inspired feel. A second twin room follows the same Scandi styling. The twin beds may be converted to a huge double bed via zip and link on request. The beautiful communal gardens of Gwel Marten are available for guests.
Enjoy watching the sun set over St Ives. From here you can access the SW coastal path with a 20 mins walk to St Ives in one direction and the wonderful expanse of sand at Porthkidney and Hayle in the other. A scenic railway nearby stops at St Ives and the surrounding area. With golden sand as your playground and dramatic cliff walks to enjoy just a few sandy steps away a holiday at Golden Heights will leaving feel like you have struck gold.
The seaside village of Carbis Bay has a magnificent stretch of pure white sand, which is only a short drive from iconic St Ives. The beach feels almost subtropical, with turquoise waters and protected conditions. The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach to rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and get out on the ocean, whilst spa days await at the boutique hotel. Carbis Bay has a few local businesses and restaurants, as well as a fish and chip shop and a train station to explore Cornwall.

Only improvements I would suggest are a pizza cutter and tongs in utensils drawer. Blackout blind in second bedroom and sofa is rather uncomfortable. This apartment is always beautifully presented and extremely clean and welcoming. We look forward to a fifth visit soon
