About this property

Coastal Breeze is a superb three-bedroom, first-floor, duplex apartment located within the stunning Carrack Gladden Beachside Development. The apartment was meticulously created with comfort in mind, and it offers spectacular views of the beach, St Ives, and beyond, making it an ideal getaway for families and friends. Upon arrival, take a short flight of stairs up to the first level from the communal door. With spacious seating, a Smart TV with Wii console, Bluetooth speaker, and Blu-ray player, as well as an electric fire for when the weather turns chilly, the living/dining area is guaranteed to please. Patio doors from the kitchen lead out to the sun terrace, whilst a further balcony allows you to take in unobstructed views while daydreaming about your next destination. The kitchen has everything you need, including an electric oven and induction cooktop, a De'Longhi espresso coffee maker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and even a washing machine, so you won't have to bring your entire wardrobe! In the mornings, you can energise with a hot cup of coffee fresh from the De’Longhi espresso machine. You'll find the first bedroom on this level, which has a king-size bed and a contemporary shower area with a rainfall shower. Climb the spiral staircase to the other two bedrooms, which include a super-king-size room with zip/link beds and access to a terrace with garden furniture, as well as an en-suite shower room, and a double room with spectacular views and a similar en-suite shower room across the landing. Fresh white bed linen and wall-mounted TVs are provided in each of the bedrooms for your convenience. Within a short walk, you'll find the famous Carbis Bay Beach, which offers a stunning, protected bay ideal for watersports and safe swimming, or you can join the magnificent South West Coastal Path, which climbs along dramatic clifftops to the Golden sands of Gwithian. There are a few local stores and restaurants in the area, as well as a fish and chip takeaway where you can enjoy typical coastal fare. St Ives, home to the Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, as well as a plethora of wonderful eateries, including many long-established restaurants specialising in sea food, will appeal to the more cultured members of the group. Visit the Eden Project's tropic bio-domes, St Michael's Mount for local history, or the National Trust's Godrevy Lighthouse, which sits on a deserted rocky island. Consider Coastal Breeze for your next escape to Cornwall.

The seaside village of Carbis Bay is well renowned for its magnificent stretch of pure white sand, which is only a short drive from iconic St Ives. The beach feels almost subtropical, with turquoise waters and protected conditions, and is ideal for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach, so if sunbathing isn't your thing, rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and get out on the ocean instead. Alternatively, why not book a Spa day at the charming hotel that overlooks the beach and has a great patio where you can sip cocktails while basking in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay features a few local businesses and restaurants, as well as a fish and chip shop and a railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay to St Ives is one of the most beautiful in the country, and St Ives itself is a terrific day out with plenty of galleries to see. Hayle, a quayside town with attractions for the whole family, including golf and a wildlife sanctuary, is also not far away. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and the Penwith Heritage Coast are also easily accessible from Carbis Bay, giving outdoor enthusiasts and watersports enthusiasts with even more options, such as coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is a fantastic holiday destination for people looking to explore Cornwall's stunning coastline.

Spotlessly clean and would definitely recommend!

) Whilst we didn’t want to spend our holiday cleaning, we certainly left it cleaner than we found it. We requested that one of the beds was split into twins for the children in the group. On arrival we discovered that this hadn’t happened. We tried phoning the office repeatedly and received no answer. We selected call back and never got a call back. We finally made contact via WhatsApp, after giving details of booking number, name etc, the person just stopped replying. Terrible customer service, especially for repeat customers. This has put us right off making any further bookings.

The proximity to the beach and the train station meant that we didn't use the car all week. We only had a couple of small things to mention, as a particularly short person I couldn't reach the plates, bowls etc and some of the mirrors were slightly high so could only see to do my hair if stood on tip toes, although possibly not a bad thing :)
