A beautifully renovated Wash House with a focus on light and stylish interiors
Nestled on a working farm and surrounded by rolling Cornish countryside
Spacious enclosed garden, perfect for children and even four-pawed friends to roam freely
This wonderfully renovated holiday home provides the perfect blend of countryside and coast in dreamy Cornwall. Nestled on a working farm and surrounded by unspoiled landscapes, enjoy a stay in this former Wash House with your family and four-pawed pal, who will love the large lawned garden.
Walk into this light and stylish property and find a handy porch space where you can flick off your boots after a day at the beach. Continue into the lounge/diner and find your seat on the comfortable corner sofa before relaxing in front of the wood burner with a piping hot mug of tea. The kitchen is a lovely space to rustle up a meal with all the necessary equipment for a stress-free stay. After dinner, retreat to the spacious lawn and enjoy melting marshmallows with the backdrop of rolling countryside views. Exploring this delightful property further, you will find two bedrooms to choose from: a king-size with an en-suite WC and a twin. Wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee, the kids running around the lawn, and everyone ready to explore the magnificent Cornish coast.
Enjoy the crackle of twigs beneath your feet with the sheer amount of picture postcard walks available from your doorstep. If you’d like to venture further on foot, the 630-mile South West Coast Path starts 5 miles away in the foodie haven, Padstow. Follow the shores of the stunning Camel Estuary to Porthcothan (13 miles), passing colonies of razorbills and guillemots as you go. Recharge with a meal to remember at Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant or grab fish and chips and eat while on the move. Families will love the neighbouring attractions, including Camel Creek Adventure Park (1 mile), the Eden Project (17 miles) and the National Trust’s Carnewas at Bedruthan (10.5 miles).
Mrs Sharon Kirk
Thank you for such a lovely week in your brand new Wash House. It was absolutely delightful and we loved it. The furnishings were great and decor so tastefully thought out and appreciated. Newquay and Padstow were our main places we visited for surfing and eating. Pitch and Putt at Hollywell Bay in the rain was great fun. We will be back!
Mrs Jayne Sandys
Thank you so much for such a lovely stay in your Cottage. It was a home from home from the minute we walked in. Everything has been thought of for a relaxing stay. Rock and Padstow were our main places we visited, especially Rock which has a wonderful beach for the dog. We look forward to returning!
