This spacious property, with its attractive slate-hung frontage, has direct access to the water from the garden and is perfect for those who want to bring along kayaks or paddleboards to explore the waterways. Very authentic Cornish cottage. Great location for walking. Fitted our group of 6 (3 adults, 3 kids) It has 3 bathrooms but only 1 with shower with no hand held showerhead so difficult to clean after use. Water pressure is also not very good so people can only take a bath or shower one at a time. So actually 1 bath upstairs was better of as just a toilet room. Bunkbed room is very small. Very nice curtains and headboards. Nice livingroom and large kitchen with AGA but breakfast table small and old. Only 4 chairs. Kitchenware is mix and match and some things could be replaced. Some pans had a lot of scratches in the Teflon which is harmful. Cobwebs and ventilation grills were dusty/dirty. Door handles were wobbly and came out of the doors which needed to be put back. Overall we were a bit disappointed in the quality standard of the property. Our opinion is that the house should get a little bit more TLC.
