We had a week of typical Cornish rainy weather, however really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. The cottage feels homely and was very well appointed. We had everything for a self-catering day in as well as a great base for going out exploring. The furniture was very comfortable, games books and tv/WiFi was provided and the space felt slightly bigger than in the photos. There are a lot of great indoor and outdoor options in walking distance or only a short drive away. The dedicated parking space was a bonus and I wish we could have made more use of the front garden. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and we would consider staying again in the future.

The accommodation was comfortable. Good heating. Beautifully presented - scrupulously clean, with many thoughtful details. It was an excellent location for Carlyon Bay beach, Charlestown and several other lovely Cornish seaside villages. The food and drinks at the local Golf Club were excellent. We, as non-members, were made very welcome.
