Overlooking Portmellon Bay, on the coastal road, and 50 yards from a sandy beach, this restored 18th-century holiday cottage offers cosy accommodation in the heart of a traditional Cornish seaside village. It is situated on the ground and first floors of a small group of properties (below balcony in photograph) and the sea is only 5 yards away! This property is perfect for walkers, or guests looking to drive around the local area, as public transport is limited.
It is less than a half-mile walk away from the fishing village of Mevagissey with its restaurants, inns, shops, fishing trips and boat hire. Ideally situated for the Eden Project near St Austell, 7 miles, with the Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of Cornwall’s most popular attractions, 2 miles. Shops ½ mile, seasonal pub 50 yards.

Dawn Cottage is in an idyllic setting, lovely cosy cottage with a home from home feel, very well equipped with everything you need, a very friendly place, a pub yards down the road and The Shack for coffee, the dog loved her walks on the beach and long walks around the area. We had an amazing holiday watching the sunrise, the tide, the welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch, hope to go back next year.
