Guests say

Anneth Lowen is a well-equipped, clean, and welcoming cottage, appreciated for its swimming pool, pool table, and peaceful surroundings. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful touches and the proximity to local amenities and attractions. While some minor issues were reported, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being very clean and well-maintained. One isolated incident of a mouse does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback.

The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local amenities, though it is noted to be fairly remote and on a working farm, which may not suit all preferences. The nearby attractions like beaches and the Eden Project add to its appeal.

The cottage is generally regarded as comfortable, with special mentions of cosy sofas and a warm atmosphere. However, there are comments about the need for mattress replacement and the inconvenience of having only one shower, which slightly affects the comfort score.

Facilities like the swimming pool and pool table are highlights, but issues with a dehumidifier and the presence of spiders and farm-related nuisances have been noted. The well-equipped kitchen is a plus, but the maintenance concerns slightly lower the score.

Guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as fresh flowers and festive decorations. While these are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

House was very well equipped with all we would want for our family stay. It was warm and welcoming. Close to local amenities and plenty of places nearby to eat and visit.

Cottage was lovely, in a fairly remote location on a working farm. The owners lived in a cottage in the same farm yard, they didn’t intrude but were on hand for any problems. Well equipped kitchen. There were 2 bathrooms but only one had a shower which was down stairs, while not a major problem a little inconvenient at times
