Positioned in the fishing village of Mevagissey, Cornwall is Sea View, a fabulous three-bedroom cottage. Benefitting from stunning sea views and a prime position near the beach and a host of local amenities, Sea View is a wonderful base for a family getaway, accommodating six guests and two furry companions. Park up to the roadside before entering the property, firstly reaching the open-plan living space, flooded with natural light and complete with homely interiors. Rustle up meals in the well-equipped kitchen area, dine as a group around the six-seater table, or relax in front of the TV upon the plush seating on offer. Head to the rear where you'll locate an enclosed patio area, ideal for an alfresco affair across the warmer months. Return indoors to catch some rest, selecting between three well-appointed bedrooms; the twin and bunk rooms are located on the ground floor, serviced by a bathroom. The final bedroom, home to a king-size bed and an en-suite is set on the first floor, enjoying elevated vistas of the shoreline. Awaken to a stroll along the seafront, before exploring the village, starting off at Mevagissey Museum, and Mevagissey Harbour Wall, before following The Roseland Heritage Coast walking trail or heading further into the countryside to visit The Lost Gardens Heligan and its pretty blooms. Return to the coast and enjoy a day at Porthpean Beach, head to the bustling port of Charlestown, or discover the Kidzworld Adventure Play to entertain the little ones of your party, before heading for the Eden Project and its magnificent botanical garden. Complete your break in Truro with a stroll along the river, a tour of the cathedral and a guided visit to the Royal Cornwall Museum, before returning home for supper. Enjoy all of this at Sea View.

The ideal Cornish fishing community, complete with narrow streets made of cobblestone and a lovely harbour dotted with boats. The coast offers breath-taking treks in both directions, with sand beaches, towering cliffs, and secret coves to discover. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are only up the road, and the village has a great selection of pubs and eateries. From Easter to September, a ferry service connects Mevagissey and Fowey. Spend some time in Charlestown's (7-mile) Tall Ships Harbour and its shipwreck museum or at the renowned Eden Project's tropical biomes (11 miles). A short drive from Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre, and church, and a half-hour journey from the picturesque Roseland Peninsula's lovely coastline, fantastic beaches, and renowned gardens.
