About this property

Settled on a contemporary development, just outside of Charlestown, is this sleek, second-floor apartment, Azure. Wonderfully presented throughout with open-plan living and off-road parking, Azure invites families and couples for a relaxing retreat to this superb Cornish location.

After a day enjoying the stretching sands of Duporth and Porthpean beaches waiting just on your doorstep, a few minutes stroll takes you back to the comforts of the open-plan living space to impress the group with a home-cooked favourite prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. After dinner, take to the settee and flick on the Smart TV and search for a movie. Bi-fold doors lead to the balcony where you can enjoy the morning sun and plan how to spend your day. As the night rolls in, discover the king-size bedroom featuring a contemporary en-suite shower room, whilst the twin bedroom has access to the family bathroom featuring a gleaming bath with rainfall shower over and hand-held shower. Start off the morning with a stroll down to Duporth Beach, a quiet stretch of sand and shingle which can be accessed via the coast path and those seeking a bit more adventure can follow the coast to Pentewan where you can take to the open water on paddle boards, kayaks and even banana boats. Head into Charlestown, a historic coastal village where you can choose from a range of pubs and restaurants, perfect for when you fancy a night away from cooking, there is a convenience store for any essentials, and an array of larger supermarkets a few minutes’ drive away. For more day trips why not head to the hustle and bustle of Newquay, famed for award-winning beaches and great restaurants, or explore the iconic Eden Project with its tropical biomes, winter ice rink, and more, all nestled in an enormous crater. Escape to Azure for a charming break, whatever time of year.

On the south coast, close to St. Austell, is a charming and highly sought-after coastal community with stone cottages and Regency homes. Charlestown is the ideal holiday spot because of its collection of tall ships that are berthed in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, outstanding pubs and restaurants, and simple access to the coastal path. It has even been utilised as a location for movies, most notably Poldark. Golf courses abound in the area, and Carlyon Bay and Porthpean are both nearby. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, various stately mansions and gardens, the amazing Eden Project, and the lovely fishing village of Mevagissey are all within 5 miles of each other, while Newquay and the North Cornwall coast are 17 miles distant.

The issue was there was no curtains or blinds in the front room so when the sun was out you couldn't see any of the TV at all also the door was very hard to close. Was lovely and clean , the showers were amazing and the beds were very comfy you just couldn't keep the bedroom window open as we did the one night and we had 8 daddy long legs and a spider lol. But generally it is in the middle of everything, supermarkets all around you and lovely neighbours. Thank you for a wonderful stay
