Jump in the car and unveil 200 years of history at The Lost Gardens Heligan, visit Charlestown to view unique architecture and a cluster of eateries or for a beautiful beach backed by trees, relax on Porthpean Beach. Or take a trip to the world-renowned Eden Project and explore the bio domes and all of the exotic plants they house! With meandering cobblestone alleys and a lovely port full with boats, this is the ideal Cornish fishing community. Beautiful hikes go both ways along the coast, with sandy beaches, steep cliffs, and hidden coves to discover. The village boasts a good selection of pubs and eateries, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just up the road. Between Easter and September, a daily ferry travels from Mevagissey to Fowey. Spend some time at the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown (7 miles), which has a shipwreck museum, or among the world-famous Eden Project's tropical biomes (11 miles).
