During the day take a leisurely stroll down to Charlestown Beach where you can stroll along its shores while admiring the breath-taking views of the 18th-century Georgian Harbour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and across the English Channel; the inner harbour boasts plenty of pop-up eateries so you and your guests can enjoy a meal on the water's edge. The adventurous among you can follow the coast to Pentewan where you can take to the open water on paddle boards and kayaks! Notable, must-see attractions include the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, the iconic Eden Project, Wheal Martyn Clay Works and the spectacular sub-tropical The Lost Gardens Heligan. The famous coastal town of Newquay is also easily accessible by car, here families can tour its wonderful zoo and aquarium and outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element with the plethora of idyllic, surfing beaches and the South West Coast Path which spans an impressive 630 miles and runs through the town. Adventure awaits at Captain’s Quarters.

Charlestown, a small village on the Cornish coast, is just half a mile from the action in St. Austell and offers its own share of thrill and adventure. The community, which served as a hub for the tin and copper mining industries in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, currently features a variety of businesses, eateries, public green spaces, and seasonal attractions for visitors of all ages. The village's proximity to the seaside makes it a great starting point for exploring Cornwall's many attractions. After a pleasant drive, you'll arrive in Carlyon Bay, where you can relax on one of three beautiful beaches and learn all about the area's role in World War II. Relax on the warm sands or play a round of golf during the day, and then head to the NCI Charleston's picturesque overlook for a promenade at sunset. You'll be close to some of Cornwall's top sights, such as the Eden Project's fascinating biomes and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of the most visited botanical gardens in all of the United Kingdom for its unique beauty. St. Austell is a great place to spend the day shopping and eating because it has both unique boutiques and well-known chain stores, as well as restaurants catering to every taste. Holmush is the best home base for seeing all that Cornwall has to offer because of its proximity to Fowey, Truro, and Bodmin.

A bath mat, oven gloves and hairdryer would be helpful. For the price we paid we would have expected a bit more than the basic, 5 tea bags, 1 loo roll and a few drops of washing up liquid. It was in a great location for all the places we wanted to go.

Very clean . Nice touches with choc's and prosseco.would of liked somewhere to sit in the top garden though, and a hairdryer would of been handy but otherwise very nice

An excellent property with everything you could possibly need for your holiday, it could just do with some coat hooks either by the front door or under the stairs
