Enviably located, just 100 yards from the breath-taking Trevaunance Cove, Beach Cottage was extensively renovated in 2021, sympathetically combining its traditional roots as a stone cottage with contemporary comforts of modern life to create an idyllic and tasteful holiday home, bringing together family and friends for a wonderful seaside holiday.
Inside, the well-equipped kitchen provides all you need to rustle up a family meal when eating in or preparing your picnic for a day on the beach, including an American fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine fridge. The open-plan kitchen leads into the dining area with bench style seating and doors opening out to the beautifully landscaped garden. The property has two living areas; the main sitting room with a cosy wood burning stove, comfortable sofas and Smart television with Sky TV; and a second reception room which works perfectly as a play room for younger guests. This reception area also has a selection of games and books, which you are welcome to enjoy throughout your stay. The sleeping accommodation is flexible for all types of groups with two of the four bedrooms having the option of either twin singles or super-king size beds. All of the bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms. In addition to the en-suites is a family bathroom with a shower and a luxurious roll-top bath, just perfect to relax in after a long day of exploring.

This gorgeous cottage can be booked alongside its contemporary annexe The Lobster Pot all year-round, Beach Cottage and The Lobster Pot, sleeping 12 guests, perfect for larger groups and when you want to enjoy this fabulous property during the peak periods of the year. When booking Beach Cottage independently of the annexe, your privacy is assured as The Lobster Pot will be unoccupied and not available for use during your stay.

We chose this house for its location. Worked well for cliff walks and runs and easy access to several places to eat within walking distance so we could have a few drinks. Liked the fact that there were different places to eat/sit in the garden at different times of the day for the sun. House was particularly well equipped though oven gloves would have been useful. SMALL issue with damp along rear wall of downstairs bedroom which made the room smell damp and smell was also noticeable as you came down the stairs due to the brook running below but I imagine there is a solution to this and we just made sure the room was well aired each day. The couple who slept there felt it made the bedlinen feel damp though.

Wow, what a find! Our walking group has stayed in a wide range of properties over the years and this has to be the best ever. With 4 couples, 4 cars, a dog and certain idiosyncrasies to accommodate, we found that Beach Cottage ticked virtually every box – and some! And it really is as good as it looks in the photos! Having a lovely dog-friendly beach, a cosy pub and the coastal path practically on our doorstep was a bonus, plus there was a good choice of shops and eateries all within walking distance. And St Agnes itself has a lovely feel to it. Note to other dog-owners, the garden is enclosed, but not totally secure, especially for small dogs, as there are gaps in the hedge between Beach Cottage and the unattached neighbour. Luckily, Arlo the pointer found plenty to occupy his nose in the garden of Beach Cottage without venturing next door. Would definitely return!
