Inside you’ll find a large open plan living / dining area that spills out to the terrace through sliding doors, and a fully equipped kitchen for prepping the day’s feasts. The separate snug has a dedicated workspace for you to catch up on your emails, and if you need to unwind after, head outside for an indulgent stint in the sauna. Each of the property’s four bedrooms have good storage, Egyptian cotton linen and 40" internet-enabled TVs. Two overlook the south-facing garden and have en-suites and three of the four bedrooms have 6-foot super king beds and dressing tables.

Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of rolling Tamar Valley countryside, if you do fancy getting out and about, you’ll have tons to choose from including the National Trust’s Cotehele which is less than 15 minutes’ drive away. Guests with canines in tow will relish an amble down the nearby country lanes or a walk along the footbridge that encompasses the Calstock Wetlands, and afterwards perhaps, a lazy lunch at the dog-friendly Crooked Inn.

The outside space at Bar K includes a large lawn with fire pit and gas BBQ, and spacious decked terrace with a modern sauna room

The garden is completely enclosed and secure so both dogs and children can run free

The furnished deck is great place for sunbathing, sundowners and alfresco dining and includes a rattan outdoor lounge suite of sofa, four armchairs and tables as well as a dining table with seating for eight

To the side of the house you’ll find a 6-person electric hot tub and an outdoor shower with rain head

Parking

Private parking for four vehicles on the driveway to the front of the house

Please note that the gate access to the drive is tight but smaller SUV’s do fit
