About this property

Kinder Lodge 3 (Pet) is a beautifully presented, pet-friendly lodge resting within the award-winning Gwel an Mor Holiday Park near the charming coastal village of Portreath, Cornwall. Perfect for families, friends, and their four-legged companions, this inviting retreat combines contemporary comfort with thoughtful touches to ensure a memorable stay. Upon arrival, benefit from designated parking before stepping onto the private decking, complete with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, ideal for alfresco dining or relaxing after a day of exploring the Cornish coastline. Inside, the open-plan living space serves as the social hub, featuring a sleek, well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, and dishwasher, catering to all your self-catering needs.

Gather around the dining table for hearty meals, then unwind in the sitting area, where a woodburning stove creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for cosy evenings after scenic dog walks. Three tastefully decorated bedrooms provide a space to rest, including a double with TV and en-suite walk-in shower, basin, and WC, alongside two twin rooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements. A family bathroom completes the interior, hosting a bath with shower over, basin, and WC for added convenience. Beyond the lodge, discover Portreath’s sandy beach and picturesque harbour, ideal for seaside strolls and water sports. For breathtaking views, head to St Agnes and the Heritage Coast for dramatic clifftop walks, or venture to Truro to admire its striking cathedral and browse boutique shops.

Further afield, explore Falmouth’s maritime heritage, art galleries, and vibrant dining scene. Whether you’re seeking adventure along the South West Coast Path or simply relaxing with your canine companion by your side, Kinder Lodge 3 (Pet) offers the perfect base for an unforgettable Cornish escape.

With its sheltered harbour, beautiful Portreath was, in the 1800s, a hive of activity and industry as a major tin-exporting port. Today, the village attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 14 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
